Barnyard Boo

The kids at Barnyard Boo at Farm Country

Barnyard Boo

Megan has found her sign at Farm Country's Barnyard Boo at Thanksgiving Point. This is how we passed the day while Michelle was at her overnight scrapbook party.

Jenna's learning to ride without training wheels! It's a friendly reminder of how out of shape I am because it's hard to even jog along beside her all crouched over ready to catch her. This is the third day we practiced over the last couple months - she picked up on it pretty quick. By the end of the day she was able to stop without crashing, however we're still working on starting to pedal without me pushing.

Driving SLC to Rancho with Joey

Sunrise over Utah's west desert - actually Nevada's east desert, just outside of Wells. NV

Fall colors just outside Carson City, NV. Who knew there were trees in Nevada?

Snow falling in and around Emerald Bay at Lake Tahoe.

Fall along the South Fork of the American River - Feels like home...

After the cracker!

Andrew's first cracker...

Amber FINALLY lost her tooth that's been loose for 7 months! The permanent tooth replacing it is already half way in. Jarum had to pull it which was quite the traumatic experience - the root was still well connected although the tooth was very loose. The tooth fairy felt so bad for the pain Amber endured that Amber scored an extra dollar!

Last weekend, the family flew to CA for Grandma Grace's 80th birthday party. It was the first flight the girls could remember. It was hilarious listening to them as we took off and landed. They really liked the funny feelings!
Andrew was well behaved despite being passed back and forth across the aisle. He slept most of the time on each flight.
We received many compliments from other passengers on how well behaved our kids were during the flights. The funniest, however, was watching the woman sitting next to Michelle. Andrew would stare at her and grin and laugh and try to get her attention, but the woman wouldn't even look at him. The ENTIRE flight! It seemed she was angry she had to sit by the only baby on the plane, even though he didn't cry at all (and luckily didn't barf on her either). Oh well..

Amber's new magic trick... watch closely!
